Alone in the woods at night, Alfred was walking around with no direction as to where the exit was. He kept walking when he noticed a tree that looked familiar, “Wait, I’ve been here before, Ah shit, I’ve been walking in circles? How the hell did that happen?” The man slumped his shoulders and groaned, ”How the hell did I get myself in this situation? Well the only way to go is straight, so here I go.” With that, he took off with hopes of finding his way out of a forest he was starting to fear.

Matthew sighed. Gilbert had told him there was another one in the woods, and since him and Arthur had to handle the sickened one, he was stuck with a stranger lost. He grumbled, but his form slowly changed into a tall man with no face. Not even his hair remained. “Let get this over with.” He finally spotted the male, it seeming to be a teen or a bit older. However, he seemed… familiar. His hair was a golden wheat color, and his eyes a sky blue. He wore framed glasses, and grumbled to himself. But Matthew also sensed fear waving off of him. He shrugged it off and begun his slow pursuit.

Alfred started kicking rocks, and mumbling under his breath “Goddamn Arthur and France, ‘yeah go into these woods and then come back out it’ll be fun!’ I’m gonna get them when I finally get out of he-” Alfred heard a twig snap behind him, and pointed his flashlight to the sound. There was nothing. He swallowed the lump of fear in his throat, took a deep breath in, and sighed. It was probably those two playing a joke on him, ”Ahahaha, very funny guys! I’m soooo scaaared!” Playing it off as a joke seemed to help a bit, but not by much. Alfred continued walking, but couldn’t shake off the feeling that he was being followed.

Matthew let out a sigh of relief. He had hid just in time. He peeked around the tree, peering at the male. If he had his face, he would be smirking. The man thought this was a joke! That his friends were pranking him! This was going to be a good scare. He slipped behind him, his form looming over the male. He called forth the static, his extra arms stretching around the male. The static soon surrounded them both, and he waited for a reaction.

Alfred felt like a mouse in these woods. A small, and helpless mouse. He didn’t like this feeling at all. He was America! The most bad ass of them all! The hero! He would be damned if he let this situation get the better of him. As he was giving himself a pep talk, he was slowly being engulfed in black shadows that resembled arms. Alfred told himself to run away, but his legs wouldn’t respond. His hands started shaking, and he started breathing heavily. Alfred had never felt this kind of fear before. “W-Who’s there?! This isn’t funny!”

Matthew froze. He knew that voice. Quickly changing back into his original form, he turned the man around and his eyes widened in shock as he stared at the familiar face. “A…Alfred?” He question. “Is that you?”
